The title of “witch” was given to me, not by myself or loved ones; it was bestowed upon me by my bible-thumpin’ neighbours and classmates. I did not know what it meant the first time somebody called me a witch, but I did know whatever it meant provoked fear in folks. It symbolised freedom and mystery. I wore WITCH like a badge of honour.
My journey with the mysteries is a long and comical tale that started when I was a child, but that is for another time. I have done Tarot for years, but before I started offering readings, I read palms, listened to the whispers of spirit, and responded to incessant tapping on the shoulder to deliver messages to strangers out and about in nightlife.
I believe that tarot chooses you and comes with a huge responsibility. It has to do with the meaning of the cards, but also it is strongly about listening to the guides. The preparation and work that goes into keeping that ever-evolving connection healthy and clear takes devotion. There is not a huge difference to the earthly connections we have with family and friends and those that we maintain with our guides.
I am not your typical tarot reader sitting amongst crystals in love and light, my work is in the cities, the bars, the streets, and the underbelly.
In a reading with me, past, present and future can come up, guides decide what they want you to know. I do like folks to know up front that those who have passed over can come through, but I do not call upon them. All I ask is that you come open to the experience.
